With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wesley Ratcliff of Venice, Louisiana, born in McCall Creek, Mississippi, who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ollie Mae Dixon and John Henry Ratcliff; his wife Ione "Lovey" Buras; his children, Tommie Lee Hildebrand (Joseph) and Debora Ratcliff Spezio; his grandchildren, Michael Mudge, Jr. (Regina), Christina Spezio Cresson (Jeffrey) and Kimberly Spezio (Blaine); his great grandchildren, Claire, Grace, Collin Mudge, Thomas, Gregory, Olivia and Emma Cresson; and his brothers, Thomas "Birdie" and Joseph Ratcliff.
