She was predeceased by: her husband Hugo Penton; her parents, Charley McNeese and Bessie McNeese; her children, Earlene Spillman and Jack Flynn; her son-in-law Charles Wayne Fornea; and her siblings, Clifton McNeese, Gary McNeese, Dot Coleman, Gladys Nastai, Joyce Taylor and Shirley McClendon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maylee Fornea of Varnado and Jessie Amato (H. J.) of Independence, LA; her grandchildren, Hylton J. Spillman (Katherine), Sonya Cassard, Daniel Spillman (Terri), Jerry Spillman, Ame Flynn, Norma Jordan (Jack), Charlie Fornea (Tammy), Sarah Williams (Richard), Chad Amato (Natalie) and Brad Amato; her daughter-in-law Beverly Flynn of Slidell, LA; and her friend Marylee McKenzie. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
