He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arthur Rester and Virgie Lee Davis; his grandparents, Zachary Alexander Rester, Nancy Jane Knight, Lawson Davis and Ina May Mitchell Davis; his son Brandon Adam Rester; his granddaughter Sara Elizabeth Sheridan; and his brothers, Herbert Rester, David Rester, Jerry Rester, Richard Rester and Tommy Rester.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy "Chrissy" Rester, Tiffany Rester and Melissa Sheridan; his grandchildren, TJ, Emma, Sarah, Jordan and Nathan "Harley"; his great grandchild Finley; and his siblings, Diane Sanders, Tammy Creel, Jane Creel Jennette Polezack and Charles Rester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
