It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Philip Batiste Jr. (Vacherie, Louisiana), who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Alvin Steib (Specky) and Earl Batiste. He is survived by: his parents, Heather and Rodney Sr.; his siblings, Tyree Steib and DaJour Lee; his grandmothers, Delores Steib and Agnes Batiste; and his godparents, Nadine Steib Lewis and Timothy Nelson. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and family.
