He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Tidwell Aucoin; his parents, Felix Louis Aucoin, Jr. and Winnie Marie Waguespack Aucoin; and his brothers, Edsel Joseph Aucoin, Sr., Van Louis Aucoin and Kenneth Joseph Aucoin, Sr. (Constance).
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Aucoin Winters (Michael) and Leah Aucoin Regard (Eric); his grandchildren, Michael Edward Winters, III, Elizabeth Tidwell Winters, Mary Emery Winters, Charlotte Rita Regard and Corinne Elizabeth Regard; his siblings, Leonard Henry Aucoin, Sr. (Karla), Ralph Joseph Aucoin, Sr. (Keiren) and Jeanne Aucoin Hobson (late Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Owen Lonnie Tidwell, Jr. (late Esther), Heidemarie Werner Aucoin and D'Anne Loden Aucoin. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (1175 LA-18, Vacherie, LA 70090). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to River Parishes Tourist Commission, P.O. Box 728, LaPlace, LA 70069 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
