She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown, Sr. and Hilda Glaude Brown Oubre; her stepfather Clovis Oubre; and her brother Robert Brown, Jr. (Marvis). She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda Oubre Comeaux (late Joseph) of New Orleans, Verna Oubre LeDoux (Bernard) of Austin and Claudette Oubre Cannon (Lonnie) of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the St James Catholic Church (6613 LA-18, St James, LA 70086).
