She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Peters and Willie Lee Peters Smith; and her siblings, Joan Marie Peters, Gerald Chaney and Ted Bennet.
She is survived by: her spouse Jude Barry Oubre; her daughters, Jade Binah Oubre of Vacherie, LA and Jacoblin Bianca Oubre of Lutcher, LA.; her grandchildren, Kirstein, K'edrick, Keanu and Kameryn Oubre; her great grandchildren, Sofiane and Rhyan Aman Fluence; and her siblings, Mark Peters (Yolanda) of Gonzales, LA, John Smith (Stacy) of Donaldsonville, LA, Christopher Smith (Shanita) of Geismar, LA, Saundra Johnson and Myra Jarvis (Rufus) of Donaldsonville, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
