Jai Steib Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jai Steib of Vacherie, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Jiasia Steib; and his grandparents, Bertha and Aureliean Steib. He is survived by: his mother Beverly S. Dumas; his children, Jiarrus Steib, Jah'leel Ester and Jaira Steib; his grandson Oswald Steib; his sister Mesha Dumas; and his aunts and uncles, Michael, Joseph, Jr. (Ernestine), Albert Steib (Patricia), Virginia Dumas, Delores Laurent, Shirley Taylor, Margaret Smith and Elizabeth Johnson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (13281 LA-644, Vacherie, LA 70090).
