She was predeceased by: her parents, John Earlis Dumas and Felma Saul Dumas; and her siblings, Odealia Dumas Gibson, Marie Dumas Bovie, Earlis Dumas, Adam Dumas, Louis Dumas and Guy Dumas.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin Roussell, Sr.; her children, Sandra Dumas Cook, Cathy Roussell Dennis (Harold), Alvin Roussell, Jr. (Tiffany) and Brandon Roussell; her grandchildren, Bianca Cook, Mikaela Dennis, LaShae Roussell, Kobi Dennis and Evan Roussell; her great grandchildren, Ivy Chatman and Kane Dennis; her siblings, Yvonne Dumas and Ronald Hampton (Helen); and her siblings-in-law, Mervin Roussell, Warren Roussell, Sr. and Florence D. Roussell. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (13281 LA-644, Vacherie, LA 70094). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
