It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lawson Joseph Conrad Sr. of Vacherie, Louisiana, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Darr Conrad (Dionne); his parents, Merlin Conrad Sr. and Lily Mae Simoneaux Conrad; his stepfather Joseph R. Reulet; his brother Merlin Conrad Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Jessie Oubre Sr. and Madeline Becnel Oubre.
He is survived by: his wife Geralyn Oubre Conrad; his daughter Kamie Conrad Borry (John); his siblings, Darlene Conrad Dryer (George) and Tommy Conrad (Joy); his grandchildren, Haydn Dempster (Cole), Kamryn Borry, Cailyn Borry, Brittin Conrad, Laila Conrad, Dallan Conrad and Emily Alexander; his great grandchild Acelyn Dempster; his siblings-in-law, Janet Conrad, Sonia Adams (Earlis), Karen Savoie (Donald), Susan Stein (Murphy), Dana Hymel (Harold), Deacon Ricky Oubre (Mabel) and Jessie Oubre Jr. (Susan); and his goddaughters, April Yarbrough, Mandy Folse and Hope Ockman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
