It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brennan Hymel of Vacherie, Louisiana, born in Fairhope, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Alwin Rodrigue, Paul, Mary Ann Stein, Clarence and Mary Ann Zeringue; his stepgrandmother Jane Stein; his aunt Norma Cortez; and his cousins, Rylie and Emily Delatte.

He is survived by: his parents, Julie Stein and Ben Stein; his siblings, Lane Stein, Anna Stein, Zoey Stein and Kirsten Fasanello; his grandparents, Glenn, Carol Ann Hymel, Aaron Stein, Kathy Naquin and Deborah Zeringue; his great-grandparents, Gerard, Clothilde Hymel and Mazelle Rodrigue; and his godsons, Spencer Hymel and Michael Delatte. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
