With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Wallace Douglas of Urania, Louisiana, born in Baskin, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Douglas and Jennie Belle Brown Douglas; and his siblings, Shirley Harris and Howard Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Vonnie Cruse Douglas; his children, Randy Douglas (Lori) of Olla and Angie Borland (Buck) of Tullos; his siblings, Roger Douglas of Maryland, Margie Cruse of Jena and Carolyn Keen of Urania; and his grandchildren, Briana Borland, Trey Borland and Mary Elizabeth Mack.
In lieu of flowers, any planned memorials may be made to Tullos First Baptist Church Building Fund, Tullos, Louisiana. 2nd Timothy 4: 7-8 KJV I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness , which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day; but not to me only but unto all of those who love.
