He is survived by: his wife Betty Messer of Turkey Creek; his children, Colby Messer of Turkey Creek and Trechell Messer of Turkey Creek; his sister Doris Fontenot (Dillard) of Turkey Creek; his grandchildren, Tyi Davis, Tristan Hebert, Colton Chaddrick, Gaten Chaddrick and Tryston Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Ryker, Zarah, Luka, Chandon and Hudson.
