He is survived by: the mother of his children Barbara Hunt of Oak Grove, LA; his children, Jerry Kirby, Kristen Harrison of Oak Grove, LA, Angie Kirby, Michael Foster of Bastrop, LA, William Tyler Kirby, Jeri Sanger of Oak Grove, LA, Kyle Kirby, Kaitlin Kirby, Deaundre Smith, Ashton Sullivan, Dakota Neathery, Kacey Sullivan, Amber Sullivan and Trace Brown; his grandchildren, Julian, Everly, Kylie, Racelynn, Jaxxon, Brystal, Taylor, Emma, Belles and Sam; his brothers, Patrick Garland Kirby, Henry Steven Kirby, David Kirby (Debra), Michael Andrew Kirby, Richard Edward Kirby (Vanessa) and James Martin Kirby (Shelia); and his brother-in-law John Edminston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
