He is survived by: his wife Kaye; his children, Keven, Paula King, Kim King and Wydette (Renee Williams); his grandchildren, Brittany, Greg Jones, Shelton, Ashley King and Jewel King; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Holland, James, Samuel, Sarina and Andrew Jones.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Herringville Baptist Church (944 Hwy 577, Monticello, LA). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
