He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie "Chick" Sikes and Louise Harrison Sikes; his son Larry E. Sikes, Jr.; his brothers, Dwayne Sikes, Daryl Sikes and Calvin Sikes; and his granddaughter Lakeleigh Wadleigh.

He is survived by: his children, Angel Schlotterbeck (Blane), Jenni Wadleigh and Sean Sikes (Stacy); his brother Randy Sikes (Ava); and his grandchildren, Ashton Schlotterbeck, Sophia Schlotterbeck, J. Juneau, Landon Wadleigh, Gabby Wadleigh, Connie Sikes, Cody Sikes, Casey Sikes and Jessica Alford. He is also survived by his family and friends.
