He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Lee Stinson McManus and Jesse McManus, Sr.; his wife Jackie Atkinson McManus; his sisters, Hazel Daniels and Aline Wall; and his granddaughter Lindsey McManus.
He is survived by: his son James Dale McManus (Sallie); his grandsons, Jason McManus (Marsha), Mark Lachney and Michael Lachney (Holly); his great grandchildren, Shay, Simon, Clair McManus, Aaron and Anna Lachney; his sister-in-law Dianne Atkinson Perez; and his nieces and nephews, Carol Allen, Linda Kaye Wall, Matt Crocker (Jennifer) and Andy Crocker (Angelia).
The family wishes to thank Faith Foundation Hospice, but especially to our compassionate caregivers, Theresa Oliver, Dwanna Gaspard, Linda Martin and Lori Randall for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Tioga First Baptist Church, 1309 Singer Drive, Pineville, La 71360.
