He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Hollingsworth Lingenfelter; his son Bruce Lee Lingenfelter; and his parents, Violet LeBaron Simmons and Marvin Roy Lingenfelter. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie L. Carline; his grandchild Dale Delaney Lingenfelter; and his siblings, Troy Givens, Donald Givens, Billy Lingenfelter, Russell Mack Lingenfelter, James Ray Givens, Adrena Lewis and Virginia Evans. He is also survived by seven grand- children, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kingsville Baptist Church (3911 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
