We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 76, Russell Eugene Sanders of Tickfaw, Louisiana, born in Independence, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Henry Sanders and Nancy Dykes Sanders; his siblings, John Ray Evans, James Evans, Earl Evans, Kenneth Sanders and Bonnie Sanders; and his brother-in-law Salvador Coniglio.

He is survived by: his wife Iris Andrea Overland Sanders; his son Russell "Rusty"; his daughter-in-law Donna Sanders; his son Brad Miles; his grandson Cody Paul Miles; and his siblings, Lois Clausen, Frances Coniglio, Marie Coniglio and Otis Evans.
