He is survived by: his daughter Rose Marie Powell Short (Rickey Lee); his grandsons, Rickey Short Jr. and Ryan Harvey Short, Sr.; his great grandchildren, Dawson, Shea, Alyvia, Ryan Jr., Rylee, Jacob, Nate and Aaliyah; his grandson Dewayne Short; and his niece Jeannine Cunningham.
