It is with great sadness that we announce the death of René Charles Petz Jr. of Tickfaw, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, René Charles Petz, Sr. and Dorothy Doize Petz; and his parents-in-law, Salvador and Gertrude Monistere. He is survived by: his wife Linda Monistere; his children, René Charles Petz, III, Troy S. Petz (Jerry Gilbreath), Shannon L. Petz-Musacchia (Anthony, III) and Chantel Petz Hilbun; his grandchildren, Landin M. Petz, Joseph R. Petz, Tiffani M. Bonaccorso, Austen K. Petz, Briona E. Bonaccorso, Dylan J. Hilbun, Hannah G. Musacchia and Jude L. Musacchia; his great grandchild Aydin M. Petz; and his sisters, Dorene Demma, Kathleen Petz, Phyllis Terrell (Ray), Bambi and Coco. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Saturday at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Mike Cuccia officiating. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family.
