It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Hutchinson Bentivegna of Tickfaw, Louisiana, born in Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Griffin and Richard Hutchinson; her son Carlo Bentivegna, Jr.; her siblings, Ruby, Christine, Winnie, Chester, Homer, Cecile, Murphy, Herman and Royce; her mother-in-law Leanora Bentivegna; and also Carlo "Kelly" Bentivegna.
She is survived by: her sons, P. K. Bentivegna (Connie) and Richard Bentivegna (Donna); her grandchildren, Jeffery Bentivegna (Ashlee), Christopher Bentivegna and Lynn Burton (Neal); her stepgrandchildren, Tanya Davis and Aaron Davis; her great grandchildren, Wesley, Eli, Bryce, Kelly Rose, Graham and Jack; her siblings, Richard Hutchinson, Charles Hutchinson, Ruth Carter and Jewel Spence; and her niece Sharon McNamara-Horn (Bill).
A funeral mass will be held immediately following the visitation at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana. Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home.
