With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Ryan Trapen of Tickfaw, Louisiana, born in Covington, Louisiana, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 29. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John V. and Judy Ann Trapen; his uncle Phillip Trapen; his cousin Justin Trapen; his brother-in-law Juan Castro, Sr.; and his stepbrother Charles Coats.
He is survived by: his parents, Dixie Darlene Wills and Michael John Trapen, Sr. (Bobbie); his siblings, Michael John Trapen, Jr. (Amber), Jason Warren Trapen (Candi), Johnny Trapen, Chasity Rinicher (Ken), Krystal Waguespack (Jareth) and Desiree Magee; his grandmother Fleta Netterville; his aunt Cindy Lin (Ming); his uncle Joseph Wills; and his nieces and nephews, Mikey, Bryce, Gianna, Gabriel, Tyler, Jayslyn, Aiden, Charles, Juan, Julius, Gabriella, Jonathan, Collan, Luke and Brantley. He is also survived by many cousins, family members and friends.
