He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony F. "Hallie" Catalano and Marianne Costa Catalano; and his grandparents, John, Mary Giovingo Catalano, Frank and Lillie Schiro Costa.

He is survived by: his wife Toni Jean Coniglio Catalano; his son John A. Catalano Jr. (Mandi); his grandchildren, Kallie, Riley, Parker, Maelie and Opry; his parents-in-law, Tony and Billie Jean Coniglio; his brother-in-law Butch Coniglio (Karen); and his nieces and nephews, Angel, Amber, Cody and Brittany.
