He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Chavers and Juanita Chavers; and his brother Charles Chavers, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Robert Tomlin, Jr.; his sisters, Carol Verker, Charlene Johnson and Shirley Wallace; his former wife Kathleen Chavers (Cissie); his grandchildren, Vance Tomlin and Tara Tomlin; his great grandchild Tanner Aubrey Tomlin; and his stepchildren, Shannon Rolland and Nadine Roccaforte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
