With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evie Nell McDonald Gordon (Tickfaw, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Gordon; her parents, Eugene McDonald and Dorothy May McDonald; and her brothers, Billy McDonald and Eugene McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Chip Rogers Jr. (Jennifer), Jacob Gordon, Samantha Hyde and Daisy Gordon; her grandchildren, Paul Rogers (Lexi), Ashly Rogers, Briar Hyde and Amelia Gordon; her great grandchild Baylor Lauricella; and her sisters, Norma McKinney and Phyllis Williams.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Woodhaven Baptist Church (10318 Hwy 1064, Tickfaw, LA 70466). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
