He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Victor and Nettie Oser Ruiz; his wife Patricia Ann Barr Ruiz; and his son Jeffrey Joseph Barr Ruiz. He is survived by: his son Matthew Adam Barr Ruiz; his granddaughter Juneau Patricia Ruiz; and also Derryl Verneuil Jeansonne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
