He was predeceased by: his parents, Millo Jackson Vinyard and Lula May Rogers Vinyard; his grandparents, Alfred Lee Vineyard, Mary Louise Talley, Silas Mathew Rogers, Martha Lougenia Bigner and Pallbearers; his nephews, Alex Bush, Scott Anthony, Dwight Anthony, Garrett Vinyard and Gary Lee Vinyard; and his great-nephew Riley Rivers.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Karen Johnson Vinyard of Holden, LA; his children, Allison Vinyard Negrotto (Ryan) of New Orleans, LA and Kevin Michael Vinyard of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Austin Pryce Vinyard and Savannah Brooke Vinyard; and his siblings, Irene Bennett (Phil), Paulette Ferguson (Randy), Jackie Anthony (Bill), Mary Hill (Bill) and Gary A. Vinyard (Gloria). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
