She was predeceased by : her father Charles Edward Bennett; her brother Scotty Lee Bennett; and her grandmothers, Ella Bennett Sitman, Eva Jones and Gail.
She is survived by : her mother Charlene Jones Mandella; her daughter Dr. Melanie Bevere and her son-in-law James "Gunner" Hall; her husband Larry Bevere; her siblings, Reggie Bennett (Rose), Dennis Bennett, Charlie Bennett, Timmy Bennett, Mary Alice "Micky" Bennett, Frances Billiot, Lisa Johnson and Henrietta Palmisano; and her sisters-in-law, Joann Tucker and Rosemary Mizell. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
