With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Stephen Orlando of Tickfaw, Louisiana, born in Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 100. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvadore "Sam" Orlando and Katherine LaMarca Orlando; his wife Carmelite Ferrara Orlando; his son Salvadore Anthony Orlando, Sr.; his granddaughter Mary Orlando; and his siblings, Rosa Nicolosi, Annie Labruzzo, Jennie Ferrara, Mattie Farace, Angelina Wesley, Lucy Talbot, Nancy Fontana and Nace Orlando.
He is survived by: his son Dominic Orlando, Sr. (Elizabeth) of Loranger; his daughter-in-law Frances Giluso Orlando of Ponchatoula; his grandchildren, Bud Orlando (Cathy), Ashley Orlando Turner, Aimeé Orlando Nethercutt, Dominic Orlando (Kristie), Doyle Orlando (Sky) and Kristin Orlando LeBlanc (Joey); his great grandchildren, Brianna Orlando, Austin Orlando, Ashton Orlando, Joseph Turner, Jr., Ruby Nethercutt, Kyle Nethercutt, Owen Orlando, Mary Cinclare Orlando of Davey Orlando, E. V, LeBlanc and Joey LeBlanc IV; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Trent Matthews and Megan Matthews; his great grandchild Taysom Matthews; and his sister-in-law Margaret Ferrara Stabiler of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
