It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony C. Lamonte of Tickfaw, Louisiana, who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Grace Lato Lamonte; his parents, Anthony Lamonte and Josphine Lamonte; and his siblings, Sandra Lamonte Olivia, Mary Lamonte Prine, Frances Lamonte Tortorice, Joe Lamonte, Larry Lamonte and Salvador Lamonte.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Williams Lamonte; his children, Theresa Lamonte Brignac (Marion), Cynthia'Cindy'Lamonte Collins (Dennis), Richard A. Lamonte (Nan) and John P. Lamonte (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Shaun Lamonte, Brett Lamonte, Lindsey Casper Smith, Josh Casper, Jason Collins, Steven Collins, Tina Lamonte Brunies, Aaron Reid, Alex Reid and Joshua Brignac; his great grandchildren, Amelia Lamonte, Aiden Lamonte, Lily Lamonte, Anna Smith, Cooper Smith, Cole Smith, Jason Collins Jr., Paige Gros, Taysom Collins, Dawson Brunies, Brayden Brunies, Ashton Brunies, Layne Reid, Ada Reid and Lilly Reid; his great great grandchild Riley Gros; and his stepchildren, Mike Williams (Emily), Mark Williams (Linda), Michelle Landreneau (Jeff) and Brian Williams (Diana). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
