With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wade J. Knight of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Raceland, Louisiana, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wade J. Knight to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knight and Julia Knight; his son-in-law Allen P. Ordoyne; his siblings, Bert Knight (Leafy), Mary Lee Bougeois (Carl) and Clarice Fournier (Herb); and his great grandchild Charley Grace Ordoyne.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen LeBlanc Knight; his children, Bernadette Ordoyne and Gerard Knight (Nancy); his brothers, LeRoy (Joyce) and Chester Knight (Beth); his grandchildren, Brandon Knight (Nikki), Travis Ordoyne (Angie), Cody Knight (Whitney), Kade Ordoyne (Samantha) and Kerri Knight (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Brody, Brennan, Harper, Cooper Ordoyne, Hunter, Claire and Mila Knight. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (720 Talbot Ave, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
