We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2024, at the age of 94, Van Carl Vives of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Van J. Vives and Vivian M. Vives of Thibodaux, Louisiana.. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Bloom; his children, Stephen (Debbie) of Statesboro, GA and Catherine Faber (Bill) of Bentonville, AR; his sisters, Virginia Albert (Charles) of Luling, LA and Vera Vives; and his grandchildren, Michelle Frank (Will), Nicholas Faber (McKenna), Thomas Faber (Taylor), Denise Smith (Michael), Rachel Greene (Austin), Chrisopher Jeffery, Stephen Vives, Joseph Vives, Lauren, Matthew Vives and Indigo Vives. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Martha's Task (Bartlesville), Journey Home Hospice (Bartlesville), or The Nature Conservancy.
