She was predeceased by: her husband George William "Bill" Bolton, Sr.; her parents, Anne Rodrigue and James J. Wood, Sr.; and her sister Anne Gertrude Wood. She is survived by: her children, George William Bolton II (Laura), Mark Wood Bolton (Tanya), Michael Charles Bolton (Brenda), Thomas Trimble Bolton (Sharon), Benjamin John Bolton (Adrienne) and Kathleen Bolton St. Pierre (Cory); and her siblings, James J. Wood, Jr., Kenneth Wood, Sr. (Kate), Gregory Wood, Sr. (Evelyn), Martha Schexnayder (Edgar Jr.), Marilyn Rougee, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Stein and Dorothy Wood. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Co-Cathedral (721 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Alzheimer's Foundation of America in her name.
