She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Earl Brown, Jr.; her children, Carrie Fernandez, Willie, Sr., Gregory, Sr. and Darryl Brown, Sr.; her parents, Moesa Benjamin and McKinley Benjamin; her siblings, Cleveland, Felton, Roland, Carlton Benjamin, Theresa Burd, Almedia Vicks, Clara Bruce and Myrtle Ratcliff; and her children-in-law, Donald Jefferson and Rose Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Edward, Michael (Katherine), Douglas, Jeffery, Sr., Raymond Brown, Sherryl Brown, Linda Brown Hills and Angela Brown Jefferson; her daughters-in-law, Carolyn Brown and Gail Brown; and her sister Elouise Lazarde (Steve). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. John Baptist Church (3659 LA-1, Napoleonville, LA 70390). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
