He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Leona Soignet; his siblings, Wilbert Soignet, Juanita Adams, John Soignet, Jr., Dorothy Zeringue and Doris Adams; his father-in-law Willis; and his sister-in-law Enid Maggio (Vincent).
He is survived by: his wife Billie Babin Soignet; his children, Roland Soignet, Jr. (Cherisse), Willis Soignet (Jo Ann), Loma Frederick (Kenneth "Fee") and Angelle Blanchard (Ted); his grandchildren, Christian Scull, Alison Dempster, Shannon Soignet, Donovan Soignet (Kelly), Kenny Frederick, Jr. (Kristen), Jacob Frederick (Alison), Dylan Frederick (Sammi Jo), Brandon Blanchard (Tabetha) and Lacie Blanchard (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Callie, Maria, Jayde, Kent, Ally, Aiden, Ashton, Avie, Ava, Austin, Paisley and Bella.
