He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Debra Martin (Glenn), Roland Jr. and Allen (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Valerie Martin Avant, Jeffrey, Thomas and Emilie Bourgeois. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
