She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Joseph Bourgeois (G. J.); her son Rory Bourgeois; and her parents, Florence D. Theriot and Malcolm P. Theriot Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Belinda Gil (Jorge), Melissa Thibodeaux (Patrick), Shannon Brassette (Mark), Charise Torres (Edwin), Wade Bourgeois (Lisa), Troy Bourgeois (Joanie) and Jody Bourgeois (Chantelle); and her brother Malcolm P. Theriot Jr. (Beatrice). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (100 LA-311, Schriever, LA 70395). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
