She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo LaFont and Thelma Duet LaFont. She is survived by: her husband Clyde W. Pregeant, Jr.; her sons, Bryan Pregeant (Marie) and Brad Pregeant (Rockelle); her grandchildren, Breanne, Brooke Pregeant, Brad, Jr. (Callie) and Brock Pregeant (Chelsea); her great grandchildren, Josie "Jo-Jo" Dylynn Pregeant, Layla, Lola and Knox Pregeant; and her sisters, Leverna L. Alford and Tanya L. Chiasson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Co-Cathedral (721 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (949 Menard St, Thibodaux, LA 70301).
