It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Phillips Funk of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Pansy Funk, Lera Bethel Colvin Funk, June and Herbert Phillips.

He is survived by: his parents, James William Funk, Jr. (Jim) and Janice Phillips Funk of Alexander, AR; his wife Monique; his brother Mike; his sister-in-law Nikki Funk of Alexander; his nieces and nephews, Brock Funk and Addison Funk; his uncles, John Allan Funk, David Phillips (Susie) and Pat Phillips; and his cousins, Christopher, Amanda Phillips, Anna Phillips, Ashley and Nick Brown.
