He is survived by: his wife Texie Johnson; his children, Lonnie Johnson, Jr. (Anita) of Thibodaux, LA, Fernell Tillman of Houma, LA, Derek Jones of Gray, LA, Shaunlyn Watson of Lafayette, LA, Veronica Theriot (Nathaniel) of Thibodaux, LA, Wanda Brown (Desmond) of Clarksville, TN and Shonta Johnson (Nathaniel) of Thibodaux, LA; and his siblings, Dorothy Johnson of Gray, LA, Helena Hall (John) of Cypress, TX, Linda Tillman (Harry) of Houma, LA, Roberta James (Leroy) of Houma, LA, Izeal Johnson of Lafayette, LA, Joseph Johnson of Labadieville, LA and Eugene Johnson (Claudette) of Houma, LA.. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren along with his in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thibodaux Funeral Home (104 St Patrick St, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
