Karen left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael J. Rivere; her parents, Hilton J. Benoit and Marie Gros Benoit; her brother Ricky Benoit; and her brother-in-law Lynwood Landry.
She is survived by: her son Shawn M. Rivere (Leonard Mosley); her siblings, Connie B. Landry, Charlene B. Melancon (Wayne), Cindy B. Ordoyne, Randy Benoit (Myrna) and Kevin Benoit (Donna); her sister-in-law Kitty Benoit; and her close friends, Martha and Michael Golmon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (720 Talbot Ave, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen's name to a charity of your choosing.
