James W. Jackson D. Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 92, James W. Jackson D. Sr. (Thibodaux, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Veronica Mathews and Edward Ray Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Isabel Long Jackson; his children, James William, Jr., John Guider "Jack" (Alma), Stacy Ann (Bubbie), Edward Ray "Ted" (Carolyn), Mary Zita "Mitzi" (Nolan) and Courtney Carol "CeCe"; his grandchildren, James William, III, Carolyn Ann "Cara", Abigail Lauren "Abby" and Elizabeth Renee "Lizzie"; his stepgrandchildren, Lan (Mollie), Jesse, Taylor (Dan), Ross, Rachel, Allie (Bernard) and Nolan Jr.; his sister Janet Hughes; and his sister-in-law Zita Sandmeyer (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral (721 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
