She was predeceased by: her husband John Johnson, Sr.; her children, Charles, Brian, Johnell, Tyrone, Dawn and Tammy Johnson; her parents, Anna Williams and Alphonse Williams; and her siblings, Thelma Williams, Symentha Williams, Laura Burrell, Alma Shanklin, Theresa Carter, Omae Richardson, Mercedes Brown, Herman and John Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Johnson, Tersia Johnson, Vanessa Johnson, Debbie Jackson (Karl), Tyran Thomas (Wesley), Ronnie Johnson (Alice) and Zebedee Johnson (Karen); her stepdaughters, Deloris Jones and Barbara Richardson; and her godchildren, Charles Patterson and Gail Moore. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (1117 President St, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
