Bolton Sr. of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Vacherie, Louisiana, whose life came to an end on September 23, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Neal Bolton and Corinne Olivier Bolton; and his siblings, F. Neal "Butch" Bolton, Frances Bolton Dumez and Marilyn Bolton Vitrano.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Wood Bolton; and his children, George William Bolton II (Laura), Mark Wood Bolton (Tanya), Michael Charles Bolton (Brenda), Thomas Trimble Bolton (Sharon), Benjamin John Bolton (Adrienne) and Kathleen Bolton St. Pierre (Cory). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Co-Cathedral (721 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America in his name.
