He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Neal Bolton and Corinne Olivier Bolton; and his siblings, F. Neal "Butch" Bolton, Frances Bolton Dumez and Marilyn Bolton Vitrano.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Wood Bolton; and his children, George William Bolton II (Laura), Mark Wood Bolton (Tanya), Michael Charles Bolton (Brenda), Thomas Trimble Bolton (Sharon), Benjamin John Bolton (Adrienne) and Kathleen Bolton St. Pierre (Cory). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America in his name.
