She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Joseph Leonard, III; her parents, Vivian Bourgeois and Mason Bourgeois; her brothers, Mason J. Bourgeois, Jr. and Alden "AJ" Bourgeois; and her grandson Andrew Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert, Melinda Nicholson and Cheryl Leonard; her sister Joyce Carter; her grandchildren, Louis "AJ" Nicholson, Jr., Jennifer Crochet, Robert Nicholson, Shelly Sapia, Devin McElroy and Aaron McElroy; and her caregivers, Jasmine, Miriam, Dori, Brad and Christy. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
