He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Brooks, Jr. and Mathilda Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Chad Burrell, Calvin Brooks, IV, Quade Brooks, Donta Johnson, Angela Devold (Stariskie) and Toranisha Smith (Eric); and his siblings, Tommie, Harold Brooks, Linda Every, Brenda Brooks, Cynthia Brooks Boss and Brandy Brooks. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
