It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Champagne of Theriot, Louisiana, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Champagne; her son John W. Champagne; her parents, Stanley Brunet and Lillian Voisin Brunet; and her siblings, Walterine Brunet Bourg, Ira Brunet Sr., Francis "Popeye", Floyd Brunet, Henry Brunet, Grace Brunet Clanton and Stanley "S. P." Brunet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth C. Grassel (Greg) and Karla C. Curry (Darwin); her grandchildren, Alyce Dumond, Chase Dumond (Kristen), Kourtney Breaux (Dylan) and Kelly Curry; her great grandchildren, Kasen Dumond, Kamryn Dumond, Kayleigh Neil, Lilly Breaux, Isabel Breaux and Abigail Campo; and her siblings, Ralph Brunet and Romona Brunet Alleman.
