He was predeceased by: his parents, Odelo Pitre Sr. and Irene Blanchard Pitre; and his child Dwayne Mark Pitre. He is survived by: his wife Mazie Naquin Pitre; his children, Barry Joseph Pitre, Dean Mark Pitre and Lisa Ann Pitre-Hauck; and his siblings, Shirley Deroche, Earline Liner and Odelo Pitre Jr.. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
