It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lewis (Terrytown, Louisiana), who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Cardoza Landry and Charles Lewis; his adoptive father Herman Eugene Landry; and his wife Gail Gertrude Pittman Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Robert Stephen Lewis, Julie Lewis Plunkett (Michael), Shawn David Lewis (Linda), Mary Elizabeth Lewis and Amy Lewis Morse (Frank); his grandchildren, Nicole Chauvin, Bryce Lewis (Caroline), Kevin Plunkett (Karen), Sarah Plunkett, Blaise Lewis, Lucas Morse, William Plunkett and Amelia Morse; and his great grandchildren, Beau Chauvin, Kelsi Chauvin and Carter Dampier. He is also survived by wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to pay tribute to Robert's life the family requests donations in his name to Louisiana SPCA Plaquemines Animal Shelter or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
